The ultimate skin care product for oily, inflammation-prone skin. The product systematically fights the root causes of skin problems, such as extreme cold, blockage of sebaceous glands or skin diseases such as seborrhea and microflora. After cleaning the skin, the foam can be used as a therapeutic concentrate before applying cream to increase anti-acne activity by a "triple action compound". While a patented mixture of plant-based surfactants dissolves the hardened sebum in the pores, antibacterial activity takes place that attacks gram-positive bacteria, such as propionibacteria and bacteria that can cause skin infections. Pure Active is a very active, antibacterial, highly foamy, non-oily plant-based concentrate for local and large-area treatment of pustular, inflamed skin. Its keratolytic activity results in breaking down blackheads and whiteheads (comedones) by peeling the top layer of skin and clearing blocked pores. Salicylic acid also has anti-inflammatory properties which can help reduce the redness of inflamed breakout lesions. These properties make Salicylic Acid and ideal ingredient for treating acne and a variety of skin concerns, including sun damage and psoriasis.
